Health Benefits - 11 - Behavioral Health

Behavioral Health is included as part of the medical plan and provides services for those with mental health or substance abuse issues.  For those enrolled in an EPO or IHM Medical Plan, services must be rendered by an in-network provider and all inpatient services must be preauthorized.   For those enrolled in a PPO Plan, services are available both in-network and out-of network.  However, coverage is greater when utilizing services with an in-network provider or facility.   Provider information is available online at each plan's perspective website or through their customer service center.  Refer to the Benefits Guide for coverage details related to how inpatient, outpatient and emergency services are covered.
