Retirement - General

The two retirement options are very different, so please review the information carefully.  Additionally, your election to join the ORP or the SRPS is a one-time, irrevocable election and cannot be changed. Your election must be made upon the commencement of your employment. If you elect to join the ORP, you will never be eligible to participate in the SRPS.  If you elect to join the SRPS, you will never be eligible to join the ORP regardless of any changes in your employment.
