Campus Overview - 3 - Salisbury University Background Info

Salisbury University, as an institution, opened in September 1925. The University continues to meet the increasing demands of society for quality education and today offers a variety of undergraduate programs in liberal arts, sciences and in the professional fields of business administration, education, medical technology, nursing, respiratory therapy and social work.  Salisbury University is one of twelve institutions in the University System of Maryland, also known as the USM.  The USM is also comprised of 70 centers and institutes, and 3 research and public service institutes.
