Campus Overview - 20 - Smoke Free Campus

Salisbury University follows the ideology of “Breathe Easy and Smoke Free Campus.” Committed to fostering wellness and a safe environment, Salisbury University officially became a smoke-free campus on August 22, 2010.  There are designated smoking areas off campus.  If anyone violates the policy, fines are $75 per violation and initial fines may be waived if violators enroll in a smoking cessation program within 15 days and complete the program. Report smoking violations to University Police via the smoking violation reporting form available on the “smoke free campus” link from the homepage of the SU website.  This link also provides a map of the designated smoking areas.
